Strong Inquiry in Rural Property

Strong Inquiry in Rural Property

Currently there is still strong inquiry for rural property across most areas of the market and money is still available from financiers for acquisitions.

Over the past month several properties have sold prior to the advertised auction date which indicates the level of interest. Buyers are very discerning on price and will not inspect anything that looks to be overpriced in the marketplace.

The season is fading in a lot of regions and purchasers are looking to shore up their season by taking advantage of the cheap interest rates. However there is a shortage of listings in the marketplace.

Over the past month we have identified quite a few purchasers that wish to expand or have been eaten out by grasshoppers in the north west. The majority of the interest has been from cattle producers, in the $5 to $15 million range.

We are also starting to see strong interest from south sheep and wool producers looking to enter the Queensland market, now that a lot of country has been fenced in.

With the Covid – 19 having an impact across many sectors, rural looks like the best place to be. Whilst the virus is having an impact on how to conduct an inspection or an auction, prospective purchasers are still prepared to sign on the dotted line.

If you have a property you wish to purchase or sell, we at Adcock Partners would look forward to working with you.
